The method

How Email Path works, step by step

Four steps, in the order that pays back fastest. We fix what leaks revenue before we send anything new, then build the lifecycle, then run a weekly rhythm of testing and reporting. The same method runs whether you are on Klaviyo, Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign.

  1. 01

    Audit & access

We get read access to your ESP and run a full audit: authentication records, list health, flow coverage, and a GlockApps inbox-placement test. You get a scored findings report in the first week, whether or not you continue.

  2. 02

    Fix the foundation

Before we send anything new, we fix what leaks revenue: SPF/DKIM/DMARC alignment, a one-click unsubscribe that meets the Gmail and Yahoo rules, and a sunset policy that clears the dead weight dragging your reputation down.

  3. 03

    Build the lifecycle

We build and turn on the core flows in priority order, starting with the ones that earn fastest: abandoned-cart and welcome. Each flow ships with segmentation and at least one live A/B test against your own baseline.

  4. 04

    Run, test, report

Campaigns and flows run on a weekly rhythm. AI scores send-time and churn risk; a strategist sets the calendar. Every Monday you get a plain-English report: what we sent, what it earned, and what we are testing next.

Why it works

Each step earns its place

The order is not arbitrary. It follows where the money actually leaks, backed by the numbers below.

Why we fix deliverability before sending

Roughly one in six marketing emails never reaches the inbox (Validity, 2024). Since February 2024, Gmail and Yahoo drop senders whose spam-complaint rate passes 0.30%. A clean foundation, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and a real sunset policy, is what keeps every later send landing.

Why flows earn more than campaigns

A campaign sends once. A flow triggers on behavior and earns for months. In Klaviyo benchmark data, abandoned-cart flows average $3.65 in revenue per recipient and welcome flows $2.65. Building the flow once beats writing another broadcast that ages out in a day.

Why we test against your numbers, not a benchmark

Apple Mail Privacy Protection has inflated open rates since 2021, and Apple Mail accounts for about half of all opens (Litmus). So we lead with click-to-open and revenue per recipient, and we A/B test every change against your own baseline rather than someone else’s average.

Every Monday

A report you can actually read

No vanity dashboard. Each week you get what we sent, what it earned, what we changed, and the single test running next, written in plain English. See it applied in our DTC skincare results write-up or check the pricing to see what each tier includes.

FAQ

How the method plays out

How quickly does the method produce results?

The first deliverability fixes and the two highest-earning flows, welcome and abandoned-cart, usually ship inside 30 days. Flows earn from the moment they switch on because they trigger on real behavior. Campaign and segmentation gains build across the first quarter as we test against your baseline.

What do you need from us to start?

Read or admin access to your ESP, your domain DNS for authentication records, and a short call to agree priorities. We run the audit in week one and hand you the scored findings whether or not you continue. There is no long form to fill in and no data migration to start.

Do you replace our marketing team?

No. We run the email channel end to end and report into whoever owns marketing. Some clients have an in-house generalist who keeps brand and merchandising decisions; we handle strategy, flows, deliverability and analysis. You see exactly what we send and why, every week.
